The Business Communication Program (BC), Faculty of Liberal Arts, Thammasat University, is a dynamic international undergraduate program located at the historic​ Tha Prachan Campus in the heart of Bangkok.

The program integrates business knowledge with multilingual communication skills to prepare students for careers in today’s global business environment and currently offers four majors: Business English Communication, Business Chinese Communication, Business Japanese Communication, and Business Korean Communication.

With a strong emphasis on academic rigor, intercultural competence, and practical communication in real-world business contexts, the program is seeking a qualified Japanese instructor who is academically motivated, innovative in teaching, and committed to student development to join our team.

The initial appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal based on performance evaluation.

応募資格・採用条件(学歴・経験等)

Qualifications​： Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

  1. A master’s degree in Japanese as a Foreign Language, Japanese language education, business-related fields, or other relevant disciplines.
  2. Native Japanese applicants or foreign applicants with native-level proficiency in Japanese. Applicants should be in good health. Age is preferably under 50.
  3. Experience in the business sector or in teaching at the university level is desirable. Experience in both areas will be an advantage.
  4. Holding at least one of the following qualifications is desirable:
    1) Passing the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test; or
    2) Completion of a 420-hour Japanese language teacher training course.
  5. Proficiency in English for oral and written communication is desirable. Proof of English proficiency is an advantage.

勤務条件

  • 勤務条件：現地の状況に合わせる。
  • 労働契約の期間 ：Initial contract: 1 year (with possibility of renewal). Continued employment and salary adjustment may be considered based on performance.
    初期契約は1年間で、優れていると認められる場合には契約更新の可能性があります。
  • 職務内容：
    1. Teaching Business Japanese-related courses (12 teaching hours per week; additional compensation will be provided for hours exceeding this load)
    2. Producing academic outputs that support the program’s quality assurance processes
    3. Assisting with teaching, academic support, and student advising and support activities
    4. Other duties as assigned or requested

待遇(給料・支給物等)

  1. Salary: negotiable rate depending on experience and possessing a graduate degree. Salary starts at 27,130 baht.
  2. Housing benefit: 8,000 baht per month
  3. Health insurance: partial self-payment required
  4. Extra payment for extra teaching hours (1,500 baht/hour) However, this is not guaranteed. It depends on the lecturer’s request and is subject to the program committee’s decision.
