応募資格・採用条件(学歴・経験等)

We will consider applications from teachers who meet all the criteria for the TSS 482 VISA (see below – Qualifications, Work History, English proficiency).

If you meet the criteria for the TSS 482 business sponsorship visa then we will consider your application for a 2-year visa allowing you to live/work in Melbourne, Australia as a full-time teacher (38 hours a week) with the option to extend for a further 2 years.

To be eligible for a TSS 482 VISA, you must meet the following criteria (including health & character):

  • Qualifications:
    Applicants must hold a minimum Bachelor level (or above) degree relevant to the occupation of Japanese language teacher. As such, relevant degrees are degrees in linguistics (including specific courses on teaching Japanese as a foreign language), BA degree specialising in Japanese teacher training program including practical teaching component etc.
  • English requirements:
    You’re proficiency in English must satisfy the following tests (Please refer to this link for further information: Short Term Stream – https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/temporary-skill-shortage-482/sufficient-english):

    • IELTS: Overall band score of at least 5.0 with a score of at least 4.5 in each band
    • TOEFL iBT: At least 35 with a score of at least 3 for each of the test components of listening and reading, and a score of at least 12 for each of the test components of speaking and writing
    • Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic): Academic overall test score of at least 36 with a score of at least 30 in each band
    • Cambridge C1 Advanced test: Overall test score of at least 154 with a score of at least 147 in each band
  • Employment History:
    You must have worked at least 2 years full time within the past 5 years as a Japanese language teacher to be eligible for business sponsorship.

勤務条件

  • 営業時間：月～金：12時～21時 土：10時～18時
  • 休日：日曜日/イースターホリデー/年末年始
  • 労働契約の期間：2 years (+ 2 years) ※長期働ける方歓迎

職務内容

  • プライベートクラス-1～2人（Online&Onsite）
  • グループクラス-6～8人（Online&Onsite）
  • アドミン（宿題の丸付けなど）

待遇(給料・支給物等)

  • 時給（毎年昇給あり）
    • 夕方7時まで：$27.84～
    • 夕方7時以降/土曜日：＄34.8～
    • 祝日：＄69.60～
  • ランチ：土曜日支給
